In a tweet, the Emirates Schools Establishment said public school registration for UAE nationals for all cycles, from kindergarten till grade 12, for the next academic year has begun on March 7 and will run until April 1.
The officials have reminded parents that the kindergarten enrollment age is calculated for those who have reached the approved age for registration by August 31 of the academic year 2021-2022.
To enroll in first year of Kindergarten KG-1, pupils must be four years old, including children who were born from 1/9/2016 to 31/8/2017.
For the KG-2, students must be five years old, including children who were born from 1/9/2015 to 31/8/2016.
Pupils wanting enroll in Grade-1 must be six years old, and not more than 8 years old, including those who were born from 1/9/2013 to 31/8/2015.
Parents have been advised to register their children online by visiting tinyurl.com/publicschoolre.
Other conditions for registration:
The students should be residing in the vicinity of the school, registration within the specified dates and submission of registration documents on time, and fulfilling any other requirements as stipulated by authorities.
According to authorities, registration in KG-1 and KG-2 is only available for Emirati students and children of female citizens only, with the exception of remote areas in Abu Dhabi emirate.
Officials said enrollment for distinguished non-Emirati students is from the Grade-2 to Grade-12 only, with the exception of remote areas in Abu Dhabi emirate in accordance with the laws and regulations in place.
All required supporting documents must be attached when registering online.
All applications submitted will be verified through the school administration and student affairs team at the Emirates Schools Establishment, and the applicant will be notified of any action taken on the application through text messages (SMS), or through the registration request list page on the website.
