In 2017, UWL started its first branch campus in the Middle East at Ras Al Khaimah. The UWL RAK branch campus established its credentials early by winning the ‘BEST EDUCATIONAL PROVIDER’, runner up title constituted by the RAKEZ BUSINESS EXCELLENCE AWARDS within just 2 years of inception.

This highly decorated institution offers a range of high quality, career-focused undergraduate & postgraduate programs. Undergraduate courses offered are BA (Hons) Accounting and Finance, BA (Hons) Business Studies and BSc (Hons) Computer Science. Students who complete BA (Hons) Accounting and Finance will be able to claim exemption of 9 papers in the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) qualification. BSc (Hons) Computer Science is accredited with full Incorporated Engineering status (IEng) by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) UK. Apart from these BSc (Hons) Psychology, BA (Hons) Travel and Tourism Management and BEng (Hons) Electrical and Electronic Engineering will be launched in 2021 – 2022.

Postgraduate programs offered are MSc Finance and Accounting, MSc Cyber Security and MBA. Members of the ACCA, CA, CPA have a particular advantage as they can claim for exemptions from certain modules in the MSc Finance and Accounting course.

Students get a host of special skill upgradation tools like LinkedIn learning which provides short courses and certifications.

At UWL RAK Employability Lab, students can leverage industry-specific training facilities, professional development programs, seminars and workshops. Sessions on writing CVs, attending interviews, and gaining employability competencies are delivered to prepare students for their chosen careers.
