Elite Learners is family managed and modeled on a small independent private British school.   We opened EL so that our own children could have a truly unique academic experience.

We are a family of award winning business owners and teachers and it made perfect sense to combine our talents for the benefit of the next generation.

I wanted my grandson to look forward to going to school, to feel confident that he is treated as an individual and not just one in a class of many.  His curriculum should challenge his strengths as well as his weaknesses.  I knew this would not happen in a school with large numbers in a class, nor with teachers who do not have access to the very latest resources from the world leaders in writing the British Curriculum.

Our teachers – the ones who are not family – have been chosen to teach our own children, therefore you can be sure we found the best.  Our assistants have access to ongoing training and are all progressing through external qualifications.  The environment we created is conducive to learning, from the cutting edge resources to spacious work spaces.

At Elite Learners everyone is respected and their opinions valued; children are encouraged to find their voices, to enter into dialogue with their teachers and to build strong interpersonal skills that will serve them throughout their lives.  We feel emotional intelligence (EQ) is just as important as IQ.

It is our intention to grow Elite Learners with our students, and my personal dream that the children my grandson starts studying with will be sat next to him as they take their GCSE and A level examinations in preparation for University.
