PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE

Welcome to the opening of what promises to be a wonderful school year! At this time of the year, there is always great anticipation of what is to come, and I am extremely proud and excited to be part of the Al Ain American School. I am Ruba Shadid, a Jordanian national, holder of master’s qualification in Educational Leadership with a vast experience of 22 years in the educational sector. I have worked in a variety of positions as a Kindergarten Teacher, Kindergarten Coordinator, Vice-Principal (Parents and Students Affairs), and now I am so honored to serve you as your principal.

As part of Al Ain American School I would like each one of us which includes Senior Leadership Team, Middle Leadership Team, Administration, Teachers, Students, and last but not the least our Parents to commit to the vision and mission of our school.

I am looking forward to a productive partnership with you to ensure our children are equipped with the best tools to succeed not only today but for tomorrow’s world. To be successful in school, our children need support from both home and school. As partners, we will share the responsibility of leading our children to success. I believe that every child can succeed, and we at AAAS offer multiple pathways towards success which includes ongoing support that ensures all children have the opportunity to reach their goals.
