The decision where to start your child’s education is one of the most significant ones that you will take in the first few years of your child’s life.

When it came to sending my children to nursery school for me it was important. It then set the wheels in motion for me establish my own nursery with excellent qualified teachers and assistants, I have always led by example and have studied continuously over the years. I recently completed a degree in Early Years Practice from University of Suffolk. I am very proud to have grown a business and a community of like-minded parents and teachers pre-dominantly through word of mouth.

In 1994 the doors of Little Land opened with just 8 children, we have grown from strength to strength because we are tried, tested and trusted by parents. Today we have 6 classrooms, with children from 56 different nationalities.

I am in the Nursery every day, a hands-on owner-manager, doing the work I love. My day to day role at Little Land Nursery is to lead and work closely with an amazing group of passionate and inspired staff.

Maintaining a safe environment and ensuring that we maximise your child’s potential with positive psychology is central to our thinking. We do this by helping the children to develop strong self-esteem, a sense of belonging and encouraging them to make good choices. Instilling values like respect for others and a love of learning will stand them in good stead for the rest of their lives.

All of our teachers have pre-school teaching qualifications either the Montessori International Diploma or the Cache Level 3 EYFS, we also encourage all of our classroom assistants to gain formal nursery teaching credentials. Our nursery section is for children from 14 months old (and walking) and our Montessori section is for children from 2 ½ to 4 years old.

As well as six classrooms, Little Land has a spacious playground divided into five large shaded areas, a further grass area, water play and indoor soft play. We aim to provide your child with the best facilities to develop his/her self-confidence and independence.
